a league for kids where no one is paid and everyone plays!
Parents, please arrive early and meet at your respective team's tent. We suggest that you arrive before 7:00 so that not only can you secure a good parking space, but this will also allow ample time to prepare your team for the march past. Please don't be late, as you will only disappoint your kids if they don't get to participate in the march past. Team Managers, please ensure that your team is assembled at the Assembly Point (see the field layoutin the attachments bellow) by 7:10. All teams from the divisions will be assembling there as well, so its crucial that we organise before the march past starts at 7:30.

To provide entertainment for the children, we will have the Dads and Moms battling it out on the football fields. Each division will have to form a football team. Each division has been assigned their own team colours. Parents, we need you to volunteer to play for the Dads and Moms football team. Please be a sport and sign up to play. You need not be skillful. The kids will love watching their Dads and Moms playing. Oh by the way, the winners will get prizes.
The Dads football games will be played on the Premier field, and will be an 11 a-side game with 3 reserves. Each game will be divided into 2 halves of 20 minutes for each half. The Moms football games will be played on the Junior field, and will be a 5 a-side game with 2 reserves. Each game will be divided into 2 halves of 7 minutes each.
Tents, tables and chairs will be provided during the Tournament. Each team will be allocated half a tent, with tables and chairs. Lunch will be provided at the end of the 1st day on Saturday. The League is also making arrangements to get some goodies from sponsors such as snacks, drinks etc.
Prizes will be awarded for the most creative team. There will be anonymous judges walking around during the tournament. Please do your best to liven up your team parents. You can do many things, such as decorating your tent, dressing up the kids for the march past and so on. The number of things that you can do is endless! Lets make it happening for the kids ya!
As you will note from the programme, the tournament starts early in the morning. The opening ceremony on the 1st day is at 7:30 am. Please arrive by 7:00. The kids will love taking part in the march past. As for the 2nd day, the first game starts at 8:00.
Oh by the way, do ensure that you bring a change of dry clothes for yourselves and the kids. The weather can turn for the worse. Last year, it rained heavily on the 1st day, and was blazing hot on the 2nd day. By the way, the morning sun is harder on the skin than the evening sun. Please ensure that the children apply sunblock lotions and are well hydrated all the time.This will be the last time that we get together. This will be the last time that the children will play in their team. We will have to wait until January or February next year to do this again.
