Dear Parents & friends,

The 12th Season of the Subang Jaya Community Football League (SJCYFL) for boys is now open for registration. Details of which are as follows: -

Venue

SMK USJ4 School on the following dates,

Dates

  • 1st registration - Sunday, 20 November 2011
  • 2nd registration - Sunday, 11 December 2011
  • 3rd registration - Sunday, 8 January 2012

Time

3 pm – 5 pm

Note: Payment of subscriptions is to be made at the time of registration. Spaces are limited and registration is on a first come first served basis. 

After you sign your son/s up, please take note that there will be a mandatory assessment for all players, which will take place at the field of SMK USJ4 on Sunday, 15 January 2012 at 3pm.  These assessments are required to determine the skill level of each participant for team selection purposes, so that all teams are as evenly balanced as possible.

If your son/s has/have taken part in the League before, then you will know the amount of fun and excitement that the League has generated over the years. (We would also appreciate it if you could please forward this email and the attached flyer to whoever you think might be interested in participating in the SJCYFL)

However, if your son/s has/have not taken part in the SJCYFL before, we would like to introduce a little bit about ourselves.

The Subang Jaya Community Youth Football League for boys, which began in Year 2000, is a non-profit, grassroots, volunteer based community programme that operates in partnership with our gracious host, SMK USJ 4. It is currently made up of 4 divisions comprising of 6 teams in each division.  The 4 divisions are:-

  • Premier Division for boys under 14 years of age
  • Senior Division: for boys under 12 years of age
  • Major Division: for boys under 10 years of age
  • Junior Division: for boys under 8 years of age

Each Division will play 10 games on a round robin basis. The matches will be played from February 2012 to May 2012.

The SJCYFL is not just about football, it is also about building family and community relationships. It is all about service and we are an ALL VOLUNTEER League where no one is paid and everybody plays.

And most of all, it is about your son/s HAVING FUN!!!!!!
